Is this a joke? Out of the many annoyances/bugs I've encountered later "upgrading" from Windows 7 to Windows x, this is the most pointless and irritating feature I've encountered.

i had the same problem simply fixed information technology by hitting the window ss button on the keyboard, then type in settings and click enter, next it should open up up setting and then and and so go to personalisation, look on the side panel on the left mitt side and click lock screen, and then scroll all the mode downward till yous see screen timeout options at the bottom then tap that and turn everything to never.

I did this and information technology does not work on the revised version of Win x. comes back every bit "Windows cannot observe 'settings'. Brand sure y'all typed the name correctly, and then try once more."

Kindly follow this steps if you want to plough off screen time out option:
- Right click on your Desktop so choose personalize.
- On your left choose Lock Screen
- Click on Screen Timeout Settings
- On the Screen option, Choose Never
- On the Sleep option, Choose Never
You tin as well check your Power Settings and brand certain that the options are fix to Never plough off.
Let the states know what happens.

- On the Screen choice, Cull Never
- On the Slumber option, Cull Never
You can also check your Ability Settings and make sure that the options are fix to Never turn off.

I did all of that already and my screen nonetheless times out after similar 10 seconds of me non moving my mouse and it goes to the lock screen. I already turned off all of the above options and it still does information technology, information technology is very annoying
